The only source of knowledge is experience

- Albert Einstein

I am a believer in the transformative nature of theatre.  I seek new and original ways to tell the story of our humanity and the mystery of life. As a creative artist, I approach an artistic piece with the mind of a Tabula Rasa. I find truth by mining the moment without any preconceived notion of where I will end up. My only goal is a truth. The stage, for me, has always been a dynamic landscape full of possibilities.  Exploration and risk are the two constants in my professional work. The best way to sum up my creative approach is with this quote by Michelangelo “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.”

My career focus has been, to be a positive, cooperative force in the performing arts both as a professional and as an educator. I wake every morning believing that I can make an impact.  Whether working with students in the classroom or realizing a play in rehearsal, I push hard to make a difference. I have been a professional in the performing arts for over 25 years. I have worked as a director, actor, playwright and designer. My multi-disciplined experience is a result of a natural curiosity regarding the interaction of the audience to the production and the actor to the text.
